I Was Wrong About Miles Davis

When I was much younger he was still alive.

I only saw his appearance, and to my teen eyes, he looked weird.

Cut to my early 30s. I heard his album Kind of Blue. Then I tracked down more of his work. The man was brilliant.

I learned a lesson: never mistake looks and talent.
